May 2022   Greetings...I hope you are all well.  

We have had a great run on clearing the backlog of tests and getting people on the road.  Since April 22nd last year, 86 pupils have now passed the driving test, almost all of them first time which is good, and there are others in the pipeline.

But, there is still a wait for some. DVSA are working to try and clear the backlog but the knock on effects mean that it is still difficult to get a test booked at all and I'm afraid we all have to be patient.  There is good news in that some new examiners are coming into the system and that is reducing the backlog to a degree. Sometimes booking a test in another part of the country, then utilising a cancellation app can help. There are a number of such apps available.

For those who are waiting to begin to learn, I am progessing through the back log but there are only so many hours in a day so I'm not able to fit everyone in as soon as I would like...  Availability does sometimes depend on when people can be free.  Please don't hestitate to check out other instructors, though I think we are all in the same boat.   If you register to go on my wait list but then are able to make alternative arrangements, can you also let me know.
